Havre Bene is a holistic postpartum care center dedicated to supporting new parents during the critical post-birth period. Through personalized care, education, and community connections, we address the physical, emotional, and social needs of families after childbirth. Our mission is to bridge the gap in care that many parents experience once they leave the hospital, by providing a warm, healing environment that nurtures the body, mind, and soul.

**Position Overview**

We’re looking for an empathetic and dedicated **nutritionist** to support new mothers in their postpartum recovery through a personalized and compassionate approach.

This is a **by-appointment position**. Clients will book their sessions in advance, and you will be contacted based on your availability. The role involves approximately **5 hours per week**, including **3 one-on-one consultations** and **1 educational workshop** that you will lead on a postpartum nutrition topic of your choice.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assess the nutritional needs of new mothers during the postpartum period
- Develop personalized nutrition plans tailored to individual health and recovery goals
- Provide follow-up care and adjust recommendations as needed
- Organize and lead a **weekly educational workshop** on a relevant postpartum nutrition topic
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (nurses, psychologists, lactation consultants, etc.)

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, recognized in Québec
- Experience or strong interest in women’s health, perinatal care, or clinical nutrition
- Empathetic and individualized approach focused on listening and collaboration
- Excellent communication skills in both **French and English**:

- Comfortable working in a **non-clinical**, wellness-centered setting inspired by hospitality
- Additional languages (e.g., Haitian Creole, Spanish, Arabic) are a strong asset
- Passionate about promoting healthy eating habits and overall well-being
- Knowledgeable and sensitive to the specific challenges of the postpartum period (e.g., fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, hormonal changes)
- Organized, independent, and results-driven
- Comfortable facilitating engaging and compassionate educational sessions
- Curious, collaborative, and aligned with our **human-centered values**

**Aperçu du poste**Nous recherchons un(e) **nutritionniste empathique et engagé(e)** pour soutenir les nouvelles mères dans leur récupération post-partum à travers une approche personnalisée et bienveillante.

Ce poste est **basé sur les rendez-vous**. Les clients réservent les séances à l’avance et vous serez contacté(e) selon vos disponibilités. Le rôle implique environ **5 heures par semaine**, incluant **3 consultations privées** et **1 atelier**que vous animerez sur un thème de votre choix, lié à la nutrition post-partum.

**Responsabilités principales**
- Évaluer les besoins nutritionnels des nouvelles mères en période postnatale
- Développer des plans alimentaires personnalisés adaptés aux objectifs de santé et de récupération
- Assurer un suivi et ajuster les recommandations nutritionnelles au besoin
- Organiser et animer un atelier éducatif hebdomadaire portant sur un sujet lié à la nutrition post-partum
- Collaborer avec l’équipe multidisciplinaire (infirmières, psychologues, consultantes en lactation, etc.)

**Exigences**
- Diplôme en nutrition ou diététique reconnu au Québec
- Expérience ou intérêt démontré pour la santé des femmes, la périnatalité ou la nutrition clinique
- Approche empathique et personnalisée, axée sur l'écoute et la collaboration
- Excellentes compétences en communication, en français et en anglais
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement non médical, inspiré de l’hôtellerie
- D'autres langues (créole haïtien, espagnol, arabe, etc.) sont des atouts
