Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and computer systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network components.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes and upgrades.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing their IT-related concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
- Proficient in server administration, virtualization technologies, and cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with database management and backup solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

**Salary**: $15.50-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L4W 4V9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- IT support: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
