Sales Assistant

**OVERVIEW**
As a Sales Assistant you will play a key role in driving sales growth, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the efficiency of the sales process from the first contact to deal closure. This position involves supporting the sales team, interacting with prospective clients, collaborating with administrative staff, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Customer Engagement**
- Serve as a communication bridge between the sales team and potential clients. This includes handling inquiries, scheduling appointments for estimates, and following up on leads.
- Tasks may involve attending in-person meetings, documenting project details, and potentially generating on-site estimates.
- Provide prospective clients with detailed information about the company’s services, including various painting options and materials used.
- This includes ensuring that relevant presentations are included in PaintScout estimates and that appropriate informational videos are shared with the client.
**Sales Support**
- Assist the sales team with preparations for meetings and presentations by creating sales materials, proposals, and estimates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales records, ensuring all interactions are documented.
- Notes should include the date and content of communication, using PaintScout.
**Market Research**
- Conduct research to uncover new sales opportunities and stay informed about current job prospects.
- Use the Link2Build platform to identify large-scale projects suitable for bidding.
**Software Fluency**
To be effective in this role, proficiency in the following software tools is essential:
- **PaintScout**: For generating estimates, invoices, and managing client communication
- **WorkGlue**: For tracking job progress and initiating project setup in PaintScout
**Professionalism**
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with clients and team members.
- Accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation in all client-facing documents are critical to upholding the company's image.
**OTHER INFORMATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Location: Hybrid - 2 days in shop for training.
- Wage: $18 plus 5% commission for each sale (Employee has to track their own commission).
- Leads will be provided by the employer.
- If the Sales assistant generates their own lead and closes, they are entitled to higher commission.
**How to Apply**
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
Additional pay:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
