Dump Truck Driver

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to determine delivery needs and schedules.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
- Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.
- Assist in loading/unloading freight when required, utilizing forklift equipment as necessary.
- Must have trailer endorsement to haul float and be able to load and unload machines from float.
- Minimum 4 years experience driving dump truck
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance as required.
**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver’s license class 1 or 3 with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly dump trucks.
- Ability to haul float trailer and load / unload equipment.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
