Macadam Construction Ltd. is a contractor specializing in Civil services, Drilling, Blasting, Slope Stabilization and Ground Improvements. Our operation is throughout the Maritimes.

We are is currently seeking a **Dumo truck driver with tag** to be a part of our team, based out of Lower Sackville, NS.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Drive truck in a safe and efficient manner on assigned routes according to contractual requirements.
- Ensure routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
- Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections of truck.
- Operate equipment under varying traffic, weather, and road conditions.
- Maintain contact with team and supervisor to receive instructions and report any issues on route or with vehicle.
- Move equipment with the Tag throughout HRM and the Province.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
- Protect and promote the interest of the company in all matters and take actions as required to satisfy such responsibilities.
- Ensure safety of yourself and fellow employees.

**To join our team, you will need the following**:

- Class 3 License with acceptable driver abstract.
- Endorsement for a Tag.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Willingness to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that tasks are completed properly.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Benefits**: Comprehensive Package available after probation period.

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday - 7am - 5pm. Occasional weekends.

**License/Certification**:

- Class 3 License w/ Tag Endorsement.

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required
