- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and techniques.
- Oversee the daily operations of the baking section, ensuring all products are made fresh and to specification.
- Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and baking processes, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to continually enhance the menu offerings.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, baking methods, and food handling safety practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
- A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes is highly desirable.
- Must be familiar with afri-carribbean dishes. (Nigerian dishes will be added advantage)
