**About the Role**:
We are seeking a **Tax Manager** for a well-established public accounting firm with offices across the Niagara, Hamilton, and Halton regions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional ready to advance into a **leadership and advisory-focused role**, working closely with senior management and a diverse client portfolio that includes **individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage tax compliance and planning for corporate, personal, trust, and partnership clients.
- Review and oversee the preparation of complex tax returns and filings.
- Provide strategic tax advice on reorganizations, estate planning, and M&A transactions.
- Conduct detailed research on complex tax issues and communicate insights clearly.
- Liaise with CRA and provincial tax authorities regarding audits and reviews.
- Mentor and supervise a team of junior tax professionals.
- Participate in client meetings to provide proactive and value-driven solutions.
- Support process improvement and client relationship management initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- CPA designation (CPA, CA) required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in tax.
- Enrollment in or willingness to pursue the CPA In-Depth Tax Program or MTax.
- Strong tax planning and compliance knowledge under Canadian tax law.
- Experience in corporate reorganizations, M&A tax, and succession planning.
- Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and client service skills.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- **Base Salary**: $100,000 - $120,000 CAD
- **Bonus**: Performance-based incentive structure
- **Work Model**: Flexible - based out of Hamilton, with options to work from Burlington or St. Catharines offices

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
