**Job Summary**

GIGG Express Inc. is seeking for an experienced Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Customs Clerk to work in our Mississauga, Ontario office.

**Shift**:Monday to Friday, Day Shift

**Job Duties**:

- Post bonds for products imported or assist clients in obtaining bonds.
- Receive and review all clearance documents; screen documents thoroughly for errors before lodging with Customs for examination.
- Obtain information or required documentation from the customers, suppliers, transporters, customs etc.
- Deal with all complaints and enquiries quickly and efficiently relating to customs procedures, tariff classifications, duty rates and any other documentation requirements.
- Communicate with CBSA, Customs Brokers and other Government Departments to ensure compliance and expedite clearances.
- Prepare and Verify various documents (invoices, adjustments, certificates of origin)

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED required
- Transportation industry knowledge and experience required (i.e. shipping/receiving, scheduling, freight negotiations and regulatory requirements).
- At least 1 year of experience in Customs Clearance procedures from a Transportation environment is an asset
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is must.
- Customs knowledge (PAPS/PARS) and experience an asset
- Sound computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Very organized, with excellent multi-tasking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent customer service/communication skills.
