Westport Manufacturing has an exciting opportunity out of our Vancouver office for an energetic, results driven, team player as our Project Installer.

Westport Manufacturing was founded in 1947 and is Canada’s largest manufacturer of custom window coverings for the Hospitality, Health Care and Construction Industries. Since our inception we have continued to add new products beyond window coverings to sell to our growing customer base.

At Westport, a Project Installer is the standard role on our installation team. Duties will include measuring, coordinating material delivery, ensuring sites are physically ready, installation, coordinating programming and after sale service such as warranty calls. A Project Installer may work on individual jobs, work a job with an Assistant Installer or another Project Installer, or be part of a larger team on a large project. From Project Installers, the two positions most available for future growth is Chargehand Installer (where you would organize a Installation crew) or Project Coordinator (our Junior Sales role).

Job Requirements:

- Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
- Work well in in a team based environment and ability to operate with mínimal supervision
- Manual dexterity and measuring ability
- General ability with using power tools, ladders and other installation equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn motorization and programming of blinds and drapery
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Benefits**:

- Extended health care

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
