Job Title: Project Manager, Patient Lift installations & services
Guldmann is a Danish healthcare technology company, which supplies industry leading patient lift systems to hospitals and long term care homes.
Position Overview:
Manage a variety of projects and installation subcontractors across the province of BC, pertaining to ‘patient lifting systems’. Complete site assessments at hospitals and long term care facilities to determine scope of each project, materials, & inventory planning. Oversee each project from material planning, invoicing, inventory management, and change management. Assist sales & drafting team in providing feedback from site activity including design changes. Coordinate with local structural engineers to ensure adequate structural details. Work with General Contractors on site level planning to sure smooth delivery of Guldmann's services. Work with architects and the sales team to support the design of optimal solutions for various environments.
Position includes: Base salary + Performance Bonus, Health Benefits, Flexible hours, Work from home.
Location is flexible within lower mainland; anchored near Vancouver. This role requires some travel throughout BC.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage & assist installation teams in completing patient lift installations
- Ensure timely scheduling, accurate budgeting, and complete documentation
- Seek & develop new installers/technicians as needed
- Perform site assessments at customer sites to determine technical requirements
- Act as technical support contact for the field on all issues concerning maintenance, repairs, load testing, and installations
- Materials & inventory planning for all projects
- Travel throughout the province of BC to healthcare facilities
- Assist management team in continuous improvement of processes and infrastructure
- Capable of travel for internal meetings/training to Toronto, USA, Denmark
- Daily interface with customers regarding project communications
- Support trade show activity and other equipment demonstrations
- Manage and execute all service related contracts
- Assist with warehouse related functions as necessary
- Strong business acumen & entrepreneurial mindset
**Requirements**:
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; able to troubleshoot over the phone
- Construction experience, preferable in a care-related environment
- Ability to understand, interpret, and navigate construction drawings
- Must be well versed in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other software products.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form.
- Must be a team player and have good interpersonal skills.
- Must have a good working knowledge of how to use power and hand tools.
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to comfortably carry 50 lbs.
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
