**Reporting Relationship**:
The Incumbent reports to the Capital Projects and Public Works Manager.
**Position Objective**:
The incumbent is responsible for management of all events and daily operations of the community complex facility.
**Essential Function**:
- Manage day to day operations including co-ordinating events, scheduling of events, and marketing of events.
- Responsible for all financial transactions including collection of rent, preparing financial reports, preparing annual budgets and authorization of purchases.
- Supervise staff of Complex and Arena facility.
- Maintain accurate and efficient records, files and reporting structures.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, snow removal, and security.
- Will be accountable for the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Have ability to operate equipment and computer for efficient operation of facility.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Work with and co-ordinate various funding initiatives where required.
- Develop work plans and maintenance plans.
- Marketing the complex for activities and operations.
- Other related duties as designated by the committee/Supervisor.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Minimum: Grade 12 diploma
- 2 years experience in related field.
- Preferred: College diploma or University Degree in Business and Recreation Management.
- Other: Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organizational skills and ability to plan and organize events when required.
- Must have knowledge of language, culture, history and customs of the Anishnaabe.
- Must have valid driver’s license and access to vehicle
- CRC (30 days, current, original or certified copy)
**Criminal Reference Check (CRC)** **Rationale**: M’Chigeeng First Nation is in a position of trust to its band members and is committed to providing a safe and secure work environment.
