**The Position**:
**Professional Conduct Co-Ordinator - **We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide ongoing support to the Professional Conduct Department, to the Council, and to the College Registrar. Ideally, you come from a legal background and can manage the workload of each department.

**Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Financial Services you will**:

- Use knowledge of legislation, Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, and policies and guidelines relevant to kinesiology practice; coordinate all active intake files and prioritize based on risk registrants.
- Provide administrative support to the Registrar including expert calendar management, booking travel arrangements, and detailing expenses. Support other senior staff with general office administration as required.
- Use knowledge of legislation, College processes and frameworks, and the practice of kinesiology; perform an evaluation of each intake to determine what information is required to satisfy the complaint criteria. Determine if there are reasonable and probable grounds to initiate a Registrar's investigation.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of materials for Council, committee and staff meetings, peer and practice assessments, and disciplinary hearings. Take minutes of Council, committee, and staff meetings.
- When appropriate, counsel stakeholders and the public with respect to general inquires, discrepancies, misunderstandings, processes, and kinesiology practice information via telephone calls or custom correspondence.
- Prepare intake data/statistics/reports for reporting to the Executive Team. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual statistic reports and analysis of metrics. Make recommendations to the Conduct Operations Lead and Registrar.
- Independently and collaboratively examine work processes and explore opportunities for improving efficiencies through technology, elimination or altering of work processes. Make recommendations to the Conduct Operations Lead and /or Registrar.
- Act as the College’s Hearings Officer for discipline hearings. Carry out basic research related to development of policies and to support committee decision making.
- Create purchase order requisitions, process invoices and expense reports, set up and maintain filing systems, and prepare reconciliations. Manage intake and tracking of monthly time sheets.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in administration, health, or a related field
- At least three years experience in a challenging administrative role
- Paralegal experience a definite asset
- Strong professional writing skills. Advanced organizational skills, with ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
- Experience supporting Boards of Directors or Councils and governance committees. Previous minute and note-taking experience strongly preferred
