Provide or assist with personal support care in all activities of daily living. Maintain and encourage healthy diet by preparing meals, advance meal preparation and assistance with feedings as required. Maintain clean and safe environment through light housekeeping.

**Duties**:

- Provide all personal support care and assistance with Palliative, Recovery and Special Needs Care.
- Be able to complete all necessary documentation and forms as required. Ie Float sheet etc.
- Monitor and document all change in client’s health and report to supervisors.
- Ability to work in independently and with others.
- Ability to perform and follow directions as delegated by management and primary care provider.
- Provide a safe and interactive work environment for client as delegated by management and primary care provider.
- Providing companionship and assistance to and from appointments or mínimal tasks such a as grocery shopping.
- Some skills in computer communications
- Good problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Personal Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Personal Support Work Certificate (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
