We are a bright and welcoming center located within The Enjoy Center, conveniently located close to the Anthony Henday and other major routes, and offer care for children from 12 months old to 5 years old.

**JOB OPPORTUNITY**:
**JOB DUTIES**:

- Plan and implement an emergent curriculum that encourages student’s curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving.
- Engage children with a range of activities and games that are well rounded for their social, physical, and emotional development.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment where children can get excited to come each and every day.
- Facilitate engaging lesson plans and create experiences that foster children’s learning and development.
- Supervise children in the classroom and outdoors.
- Ensure children have a fun and positive experience.
- Interact daily with parents; maintain open and cooperative communication with parents and families, encouraging their involvement in the program and supporting the child’s family relationships.
- Complete general reporting and documentation procedures, as well as promptly communicate concerns to the Director.
- Ensure you are adhering to the Early Learning and Child Care Licensing Act and Regulations at all times
- Adhere to health regulations at all times.
- Perform general cleaning duties ensuring areas are kept sanitized, tidy, and free from clutter and debris.

**CAPABILITIES**:

- Highly energetic and love working with children of all age groups.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact positively with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Possess written English skills with an ability to complete daily reporting procedures.
- Be in good physical health with the ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, kneel, push, pull, and use of hands on a frequent basis.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate Level 2 or 3. Level 1 will be considered if willing or in process of getting level 2.
- Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate, Level C (or willing to obtain).
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (or willing to obtain).
- Fluent reading, writing, and verbal English skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
