**Overview**
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef with expertise in South Indian and North Indian cuisines to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for a variety of events held at our busy banquet hall.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare a wide range of South Indian and North Indian dishes.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Develop and refine recipes to meet the specific needs and preferences of clients.
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with event planners and clients to ensure menu satisfaction.
- Stay updated on current culinary trends and techniques.
- May be required to assist with special events and catering.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or banquet hall setting.
- Extensive knowledge of South Indian and North Indian cuisines, including classic dishes and contemporary interpretations.
- Strong culinary skills, including knife skills, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Food Handler's Certificate required.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in fine dining or upscale casual dining establishments.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, including grilling, roasting, and deep frying.
- Experience with menu development and cost control.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
