Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or cranes
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members

**Skills**:

- Automotive repair: Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is required to address minor issues that may arise during transportation.
- Forklift operation: Ability to safely operate a forklift to load and unload cargo is essential for this role.
- Commercial driving: Experience in commercial driving, including the ability to navigate different routes and handle various types of cargo.
- Freight handling: Familiarity with proper techniques for securing cargo to ensure its safety during transportation.
- Heavy equipment operation: Proficiency in operating heavy machinery, such as cranes or loaders, may be necessary depending on the specific job requirements.

Please note that a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position. Additionally, physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects may be necessary.
