Registration with CASLPO.
GLP experience is an asset
Experience working with children with varying needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Selective Mutism, Genetic conditions, General and Global Developmental Delay is desired
Excellent assessment and intervention skills with the pediatric population.
and the ability to work as part of a team with other disciplines.
Excellent communication and analytic skills, with strong organizational abilities.
Proof of professional liability insurance.
Vulnerable Sector Check
2-3 years of experience is preferred
Some of the job requirements include:
- Provide speech-language services to clients, including screening and assessing speech, language, and communication abilities, as well as identifying contributing factors.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and adjust treatment goals and service plans in collaboration with clients, families, caregivers, school personnel, and community partners.
- Supervise Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs; SLP-A's) both in person and virtually, as part of ongoing responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and statistics in accordance with professional standards and medico-legal requirements.
- Efficiently manage and maintain an assigned caseload, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.

Pay: $120.00-$130.00 per hour
