Inventory Control Coordinator

**Job Purpose**:Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Inventory Control Coordinator oversees all aspects of the inventory and control of goods and supplies of the company. This position works closely with the Kitchen and Restaurant leadership team to ensure accurate and sufficient food and beverage inventory and reduce overall food costs.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years of work experience in inventory, purchasing, warehouse or business operations
- Previous Hospitality/Resort/Tourism experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of BevSpot software an asset

**Competencies**:

- Ability to operate within budgeted goals and maintain purchasing controls
- Ability to create streamlined processes to maintain monthly inventory control
- Ability to plan, order and receive goods needed in a timely and efficient manner
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and strong MS Office and math skills.
- Working experience with financial reporting and budgeting
- Knowledge and experience with ordering and receiving goods
- Ability to manage purchasing and receiving, researching best practices and control processes to the maximum benefit of the organization.
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skill to be proactive to plan, manage time well, multi-task, and deal with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, lifting, twisting and standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in outdoor and inclement weather.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Salary**: $21.60-$25.00 per hour
