**Job description**

With 140 years in the industry, _KRUG_ is well recognized as a leader in the design & manufacturer of high-end business & health care furniture. We are seeking positive and energetic Sander at our Manitou Drive facility.

Afternoon Shift - 3:30pm to 12:00am

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform minor repairs with glue or putty.
- Follow priorities for sending rush order and ship dates.
- Inspect cases, remove defects by sanding. Ensure case meets quality standards.
- Advise team leader of quality problems.
- Meet or exceed piecework standards.
- Adhering to safe working procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by team leader, including drawer fitting and wash off, as required.
- Perform all responsibilities/services in accordance with company Quality Assurance procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Experience in hand sanding and using hand tools, (orbital sander and in-liners, hot knife, iron, putty knife, nail punch).
- Keen eye with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to meet physical requirements (continuous standing, eye strain, repetitive tasks/motions).
- Able to wear respirators, PPEs as required throughout the duration of the shift.
- Full skill set is required to obtain the full rate of the position.
