**Description**

This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is primarily responsible for setting up and operating the CNC press brake.

**Responsibilities**

  • Represent Delta’s core values of Integrity, Service and Quality in relationships with both internal staff members and external customers and suppliers.
  • Follow Delta Elevator policies and procedures, Employee Manual, and Health & Safety Manual Guidelines.
  • Setup and operation of a CNC press brake. Operate machinery including grinder and belt sander.
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklift, crane and pump cart.
  • Perform regular maintenance of the machine.
  • Clean, sweep and perform occasional outdoor maintenance.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Mechanically apt (using hand tools, understanding of wrenches, hardware etc.).
  • Physically capable (parts are heavy and need to be lifted and moved frequently).
  • Able to obtain forklift and crane license.
  • Preference will be given to those with previous experience on press brake machines.
  • On the job training is provided.
