**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage a team of carpenters in all phases of the construction process.
- Develop project plans and schedules to meet deadlines, ensuring that materials and equipment are available as needed.
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely, effectively, and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to carpenters to improve their skills and maintain company policies and standards.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to ensure work is executed to specification.
- Effectively communicate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to satisfaction.
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Estimate the time and materials required for each project and develop budgets accordingly.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections to ensure all work is completed to the required standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure they are motivated and working together effectively.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven leadership and communication skills to lead and manage a team to success.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Strong project management and time scheduling skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A safety-conscious mindset with a strong focus on maintaining a safe work environment.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and building codes.
