We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Engagement & Experience Specialist to join our Talent & Learning
Department. Under the general direction of the Manager, Talent and Learning Department, the Engagement and Experience
Specialist is responsible for developing and leading employee engagement and experience programs to create a positive employee
experience at Manitoba Hydro. The Specialist will create employee experience (EX) programming designed to understand the
unique perspective of employees and translate inputs into outputs for intentional decision making for corporate people programs.
This role works to embed the employee experience programming and philosophy into operational processes and decision making.
Working with leaders to take advantage of the listening strategy approach, persona segmentations and to target specific
engagement actions to produce tailored people outcomes. This role will provide support to the People leadership team in the
development and maintenance of the Divisional Plan, to ensure alignment between the Business HR programs and services, and
drive performance, retention, and satisfaction of the workforce.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Design and develop consistent employee experience/engagement programs, leveraging external trends, best practices, and

input from all HR departments.
- Develop & deliver programming based on the employee journey with specific attention to employee persona segmentation.
- Develop employee listening strategies to better understand the employee experience now and in the future (pulse surveys,
- engagement survey, etc.)- Create and administer engagement surveys (engaging vendor as needed) and analyze survey results to understand the
- employee experience and provide meaningful insights and trends to relevant stakeholders.- Manage all coordination and logistics of survey initiatives including planning, communication, scheduling and follow up.
- Design and develop Employee Experience (EX) action planning tools and methodologies that can be leveraged by leaders
- across the business to address employee feedback, track and assess results.- Coach and support teams in addressing the employee experience pain points and focus on the gain points.
- Lead specific employee experience mandates, programs and initiatives that focus on maintaining workforce engagement.
- Partner with Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist to ensure all engagement programs adhere to HR

communications standards.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A Bachelor's degree in Business/Public Administration (Human Resources), Commerce (Human Resources), Communication,

Psychology, from an institute of recognized standing plus a minimum of five years related experience;
OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Change management certification considered an asset.

- Experience with large corporate engagement surveys, small pulse surveys and tools and knowledge of latest engagement
