Rated the best coffee shop by Toronto Star Readers, Golden Gecko Coffee is looking for an Experienced Part time Barista/Supervisor at our location at:
**282 Jane Street - Babypoint neighbourhood**

We are looking for individuals who share our passion for specialty coffee and commitment to the highest standards of customer service.

**Barista experience is required**.

**THIS IS NOT A SUMMER JOB - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE ONLY AVAILABLE DURING SUMMER MONTHS.**

Working at Golden Gecko, our staff and baristas provide friendly, knowledgeable and outstanding customer service through excellent product knowledge and superior barista skills.

Baristas support all sales efforts in the store through outstanding customer service, beverages prepared according to our high standards, and a commitment to quality in all of the goods the company offers, including food and retail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and interact with all customers.
- Prepare beverages and sell coffee and other retail merchandise
- Maintain coffee knowledge on current offerings and confidently and accurately communicate product information to customers.
- Respond to questions, orders and concerns
- Use initiative to complete all daily and weekly checklists
- Responsible for the closing of the café and all associated protocols
- Responsible for maintaining the store's deep cleaning schedule and completing tasks associated with the deep cleaning schedule
- Uphold Golden Gecko Coffee standards regarding cleanliness throughout the café
- Follow all policies and procedures laid out by our company
- Attend training sessions and team meetings
- Other duties as required
- Have fun

**Salary**: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
