**Job Summary & Key Responsibilities**
- OCCU 5019.03: Fieldwork 1 - Winter 2026

We are looking for up to nine part-time instructors (~ 40-60 hours each/term). Under the guidance of the Course Professor, each Part-Time Instructor (Tutor) will tutor and evaluate groups of students using simulation-based learning in Occupational Therapy Skills Labs. Tutors and student teams will schedule their weekly virtual meetings independently at a mutually agreeable time. Case review, tutor meetings, marking and/or office hours may also be required. As time permits, other duties may be required to assist with lab preparation and/or delivery. Instructors will be required to attend virtual orientation sessions prior to the academic term (to be scheduled).
Some positions will involve providing in-person support at the Halifax Carleton Campus on select Tuesday and Thursday evenings (4-6pm) throughout the term. Please indicate in your cover letter if you are available for in-person support.

**Qualifications/Requirements of Position**
- An entry-to-practice qualification in occupational therapy and current registration (in any province) as a licensed occupational therapist are required. A Master’s degree is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills and scheduling flexibility. Technological access to Microsoft TEAMS for videoconferencing and the ability to view video files is required.

**Salary Range/Pay Rate**
- In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement

**Additional Information**
- All offers of employment as a Part-Time Academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
