**PERMA-PIPE Canada, Ltd**. is a dynamic, global supplier of pipe coating solutions and factory pre-insulated piping systems to the oil & gas, district heating and cooling and industrial markets.

Our manufacturing facility, located in Ontario, is currently recruiting an **Administrator - Quality, Health and Safety **to add to its team. You will be required to perform an array of administrative duties and provide technical and administrative support to the quality and safety departments. Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Inspect production material as assigned for defects as trained.
- Perform testing of product, report and maintain records
- Responsible for safety/new hire/sub-contractor orientations, safety training, job site inspections and reporting.
- Perform job site safety compliance and quality inspections; including hazard analysis, behavior based observations, safe work procedures, written reports and recommendations.
- Assist with the maintenance of QA monitoring programs, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation including amendments to the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) legislation and any other pertinent regulations
- Create and maintain QA/QC control documentation
- Organizing corrective and preventative action & non-conformance records
- Training of personnel in quality procedures
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Two years experience in Manufacturing or Construction Safety.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations.
- Ability to use and maintain laboratory equipment for standard testing.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and other Office software
