Larson Inc is an environmental consulting company specializing in wastewater treatment, wastewater effluent monitoring, stormwater management, water quality monitoring, environmental compliance and spill prevention and remediation.

Our goal is to provide clients with high-level consulting and strategic advice on new and on-going environmental issues within the local and provincial regulatory framework.

**Role Description**
- This is a hybrid role for an Environmental Field Technician located in Guelph, ON. The role involves conducting fieldwork, collecting samples, performing tests, analyzing data, and assisting in environmental projects.
- This role is typically 25-30 hours per week, however on occasion requires up to 40 hours.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct environmental assessments and surveys in various settings.
- Fieldwork, conducting effluent sampling at pre-determined locations for 3 to 11 consecutive days. Installation, operation, removal, and cleaning of the equipment.
- Inspecting storm interceptors and storm sewer collection systems to ensure that the system operates as designed and within compliance.
- Environmental compliance, such as waste and packaging audits
- Conduct daily inspections and operation of any wastewater treatment system that is under contract
- Respond to environmental emergencies

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and protocols
- Experience with fieldwork, data collection, and analysis
- Ability to use environmental monitoring equipment
- Strong communication, report writing, organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid Class G Driver’s License

**Pay**
- Starting at $50,000.00 per year (salary)
