**Facility Maintenance/Custodian - Regina**

**Duties**: Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Person will be responsible for general building maintenance, including carpentry, minor plumbing, and repairs as needed. They will conduct daily cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of cleanliness in both public and private areas, as well as maintain the grounds, including snow removal, grass cutting, and sweeping as required. The role involves regularly monitoring and inspecting mechanical and internal systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems to ensure they are operating efficiently, addressing any issues promptly. The Maintenance Person will assist in identifying maintenance issues, assessing their urgency. All tasks must be performed in compliance with safety protocols and building policies. Additionally, they will collaborate with external contractors, build and maintain positive relationships with contractors and service providers, and coordinate and supervise contracted work to meet required standards. They will review completed work for quality, ensuring it meets expectations and contractual agreements before final approval and payment.

**Hours of Work: Full time 7 hours/day Split Shift (7:00am-11:00am/3:30pm-6:30pm)**

**Term: June 23, 2025 - June 22, 2026 (Possibility of renewal)**

**Remuneration: GDI Custodian 2 wage grid**
