Repair & Overhaul Specialist

Reporting to the R&O Manager, the specialist will carry-out re-manufacturing and repair & overhaul activities on redeployable shelter systems. This includes têxtile, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work on softwalled and containerized shelters. Working alongside other team members, the role performs a variety of hands-on tasks that require a solid knowledge background and experience with similar systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to evaluate and understand complex equipment and systems for repair requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organization, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- The role includes assigning tasks to other team members and giving them specific directions and procedures to follow in completing tasks.
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
- Solid foundations to read engineering blueprints and relevant technical documents.
- Must be safety conscious and fully aware of safety procedures.
- Maintain a valid forklift operator license.
- Ability to work independently and travel domestically and internationally.

**Duties**:

- Carry-out all remanufacturing and repair & overhaul functions - Knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, HVAC, Carpentry, etc.
- Ensure effective and safe use of equipment, facilities, tools.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and serviceable.
- Follow time tracking procedures using supplied software.
- Assist with tracking of inventory of required supplies.
- Check finished products to ensure quality, and that industry standards are met before they are declared ready for use.
- Operate electric and pneumatic hand tools, - drills, grinders, saws, etc.
- Support implementation of 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices and methods.
- Deploy, pack and clean shelters for inspection and shipping.
- Repeatedly lift 50 lbs unaided. Occasionally lift 60 lbs with assistance, bending, crouching and standing for extended periods.

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
