**JOB SUMMARY**:
The **Excavator or Rubber Tire Backhoe Operator** reports to a Lead Hand/Foreman to assist in the installation of electrical & underground utilities. We are looking for an operator whose primary experience is in an excavator. The ability to run other equipment would be considered an asset.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ability to work **5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day**.
- **Operate Heavy Equipment - Specifically Excavator or Rubber Tire Backhoe**:

- Primary role will be excavating trenches at 1.5 meter depth.
- Ability to run other equipment (Excavator or Backhoe) is** required**:

- Dig, backfill, and sand trenches with heavy equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on equipment.
- Site setup and cleanup.
- Adapt to changing priorities.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- Perform labour tasks, as needed.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Valid Class **5** Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift **50lbs**.
- Competency driving **standard vehicles** is considered an asset.
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
