Bloom 'n Deals Thrift Store Coordinator

**Job Summary**

The ‘Bloom ‘N Deals’ StoreThrift Store Coordinatoris responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations.

The Coordinatoris knowledgeable and experienced in people management, training, safety requirements, systems development, maintenance, and can manage both internal and external relationships.

The Coordinator is directly responsible to the Camrose Women’s Shelter Executive Director, and works with the ED to ensure the retail operations are adequately supported. Bloom ‘N Deals serves as another way to support the cause of the organization. The Coordinator is responsible to oversee procedures for receiving donations, donor engagement and relations, customer interactions, complaint resolution, and involvement in establishing and maintaining thrift store donor and vendor relationships. Supervise, model, monitor, support, direct and discipline inventory staff and volunteers to competently perform their duties in respective departments. Stay in compliance with all Operational, Health and Safety and Human Resources Policies and Procedures of the Organization

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating items throughout the store.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
- Responsible for all aspects of retail day-to-day operations of Bloom ‘N Deals Store.
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately and efficiently. Daily cash outs, and keep accurate and timely deposit records.
- Process sales, including upselling additional items to enhance customer purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively.
- Oversee inventory management, including sorting, pricing, and restocking items as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and improve overall sales performance.
- Engage in technical sales when necessary, explaining product features and benefits to customers.
- In collaboration with the ED support and engage in the staff and volunteer recruitment, on boarding, orientation, training, schedules, coaching and Performance Reviews.
- Supervise, model, monitor, support, direct and discipline inventory staff and volunteers to competently perform their duties in respective departments.
- Stay in compliance with all Operational, Health and Safety and Human Resources Policies and Procedures of the Organization and follow the Policy and Procedures of Bloom 'N Deals Thrift Store
- Order items required for daily operations

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.
- Experience in selling and upselling products to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Proficiency in cashiering, including cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Familiarity with technical sales concepts is a plus but not required.
- Manage Bloom 'N Deals social media posts and sales
- Computer proficient
- Self starter with a mindset for growth

Pay: $20.00-$23.88 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
