We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best-served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila & bourbon come to party.

We are Port Dover's newest lunch spot, regular late-night haunt, and go-to destination for a great bite & drink. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this.

All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to satisfy either the most dedicated carnivore or delight your vegetarian and/or vegan side.

The Other Bird is a hospitality family that includes _The Mule_ (Port Dover), _The Mule, Rapscallion & Co. _(Hamilton, ON), _Burro _(Burlington, ON), _Hunter & Co. _(London, ON), and the boutique _Arlington Hotel & Dominion Telegraph Event Centre _(Paris, ON).

- **The Job**:_
- Providing personable and efficient service to all guests, and ensuring all guests leave with an experience that will make them want to keep coming back.
- Be knowledgeable of all current cocktail, wine, and beer selections & specials, including ingredients, specs, recipes, and presentations.
- Confident in guiding guests in making the best decisions on what to order based on their preferences
- Seamlessly working with other staff to balance all responsibilities on a daily basis
- Contribute ideas to help keep The Mule's bar menu fresh and exciting,
- Work collaboratively with other bartenders in fostering a creative & fun work environment.
- **Ideally, You Have Experience / Education**:_
- Beyond anything else, we are looking for someone with; a positive attitude, who is team-oriented, and an outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with people.
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant bartending experience, specifically working in craft cocktailing or with craft beer, is required.
- Smart Serve Certification is required.
