IZA Design and Manufacturing is looking to secure a Steel Quality Inspector role,

**Steel Quality Inspector**:

- Experience in a fabrication environment is an asset
- Strong knowledge of welding processes
- Auditing, inspecting, and monitoring quality requirements according to customer specifications.
- Perform routine quality control examinations including dimensional checks of the product.
- Ensuring that product meets or exceeds internal and customer requirements
- Perform welding inspection on fabricated structural steel components
- An understanding of the different steel grades/types is an asset
- Experience with aluminum, especially welding/manufacturing is an asset
- Open to quick design changes, fast paced environment
- Maintain field QC records
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specification
- Strong initiative and drive to work independently and/or as a team to deliver results.
- Ability to verify component placements, code compliance verification
- Demonstrates positive, can-do attitude with great communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning
- Experience with a Creaform machine an asset
- Experience running a CMM machine and/or Polyworks software
- Able to perform quality checks on all plant operations, and approve materials.
- To be responsible for First Article paperwork.
- Must be computer literate and have an engineering background.
- Must be able to travel to the USA (Michigan and/or Tennessee) if require.
- Work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-focused environment
