Bookkeeper/tax Preparer

Located in Bradford, Ontario, S&S Accounting & Tax Services is a professional firm that provides accounting, bookkeeping and tax preparation services to individuals and business owners.
**Responsibilities**:
- Regular bookkeeping duties including bank reconciliations, payroll, ROE's and government remittances (source deductions, HST)
- T4 and T5 slip and summary information returns
- Assistance in preparing year end working paper files for business clients
- Personal tax returns (including rental and small business schedules)
- Communicate with CRA (internal client files, responding to reviews)
- Other accounting & administrative duties as required
**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience - minimum of 2 years in tax-preparation & bookkeeping
- Mandatory computer software skills - MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SAGE and Profile. QuickBooks is an additional asset but not mandatory
- Able to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Reliable, punctual and shows initiative while able to work well with others
- Handles client matters with confidence and integrity
- Has strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
