**Job Overview**
Brite Star Painting Ltd. is seeking an experienced and reliable **Commercial & Residential Painter** to join our growing team in the Lower Mainland. In this role, you will complete high-quality interior and exterior painting projects for both residential homes and commercial buildings. You’ll handle surface preparation, painting, finishing, and clean-up with strong attention to detail, consistency, and professionalism.

**Duties**
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, mudding, caulking, filling holes, taping, and priming
- Perform interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial projects
- Protect work areas with drop sheets, masking, taping, and proper prep techniques
- Repair minor drywall imperfections (patching, skim coats, texture repairs)
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and ensure all materials are handled safely
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Follow safety protocols when working on ladders, lifts, scaffolding, or exterior heights
- Ensure all work meets Brite Star Painting’s quality standards

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 1-2 years of professional painting experience** (residential or commercial)
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and high-quality finishing techniques
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable using ladders, lifts, and paint sprayers (airless, HVLP)
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
- Valid **Class 5 driver’s license is a strong asset**:

- Ability to commute to job sites across the Lower Mainland
