**IRONWORKS Machinery is seeking a Class Lowboy1 Driver to join our team **Class 1 Truck Driver is responsible for operating & loading a variety of equipment to perform a variety of tasks which may include: Dozers, Excavators, Loaders, Graders, Rock trucks, Packers and other various pieces of equipment.

Delivery of units and customer interaction is an essential part of the position.

Job Duties:
Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment

Conduct daily equipment inspections reports on equipment before use

Report any repair issues or equipment hazards immediately

Assist with general labor duties when needed

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Complete daily paperwork detailing job hours and costs

Comply with all company policies and procedures, work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations

**Requirements**:
Jeep and booster experience an asset

Clean valid driver’s license [Class 1], air brake endorsement

Minimum 3-5 years of experience

Live within 40 KM of Nisku

Physically fit

Mechanically inclined an asset

Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail

Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

Work Conditions:
Off road experience with knowledge of chains an asset

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis

Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold

Year round work

**Salary**: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
