**About the Role**:
In this onsite, full-time role, you’ll work directly with project personnel, fostering a culture of safety and readiness. Haztech will arrange travel from home to site and provide accommodations as needed, allowing you to focus on creating a secure environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Safety Officer/Coordinator with Haztech, you will:

- Lead and participate in mine rescue activities, ensuring all safety protocols are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop response strategies for emergency situations.
- Oversee daily safety operations, including inspections, drills, and training programs.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Record and communicate all safety and incident data to continuously improve safety practices.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Required Qualifications:_
- Proven mine rescue leadership experience.
- Certified in Mine Rescue and licensed with relevant safety credentials in Saskatchewan.
- Current CPR/First Aid and additional safety certifications relevant to the mining industry.
- Preferred Experience:_
- 2+ years of experience in a safety officer or coordinator role, ideally in mining or resource industries.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated and adaptable team player, committed to fostering a safe working environment.
