Were looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Training & Safety Officer to champion safety, deliver impactful training, and foster a culture of operational excellence. In this role, you'll combine your safety expertise with proven training skills to prepare, coach, and mentor operators while ensuring compliance with all regulations. What You'll Do Oversee safety and training programs for operators, ensuring readiness and compliance. Conduct investigations into vehicle collisions and workplace injuries, providing clear reports and follow-up actions. Deliver and coordinate safety meetings, onboarding, refresher training, and classroom/behind-the-wheel instruction. Maintain accurate training, licensing, and performance records. Compile and analyze safety, accident, and workers compensation statistics. Audit and update training materials; develop engaging learning sessions for all skill levels. Lead injury/claims management, inspections, and audits. Engage with staff through ride-checks, coaching, and safety campaigns. What You Bring 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience including delivering training programs. Valid Class 4 license or ability to obtain. Gold Training Certification (CCSP or equivalent). Strong knowledge of OH&S legislation. Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training and safety initiatives. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
