We're looking for a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Explorer Hotel in Yellowknife, NT. If you're passionate about guest experience and hold a trades certificate or class 5 power engineering, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections in guest rooms, common areas, and mechanical systems.
- Handle repairs and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with other departments for a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and report major concerns.
- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid trades certificate or class 5 power engineering (bonus).
- Prior maintenance and repair experience, preferably in a hotel.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and proactive issue identification.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
