As a Construction Manager at CBI Solar, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of solar projects from start to finish. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**Duties**:

- Lead the project team and coordinate all project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical drawings.
- Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing materials and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Implements and maintains CBI’s safety program into all site plans and procedures and adhering to all safety and record-keeping requirements.
- Understands contract and scope of work and effectively communicates with project team to ensure that performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met
- Provides solutions to production problems and technical issues
- Proactively manages potential problems, work interferences, and schedule conflicts/setbacks
- Stays current with industry practices and seeks new and innovative construction methods and initiatives

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Journeyperson certificate, diploma, or degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry (at least 10 years)
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in construction industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
- Thorough understanding of productivity rates and ability to interpret cost reports
- Thorough understanding of contract language, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and leverage opportunities
- Valid driver's license
- Experience using AutoDesk an asset
