Rope Access Technician

The type of work will vary from site to site. We complete large projects that take months to finish, as well as small jobs that may take only a few hours. Training will be provided; however, prior experience is highly valuable.

Hours of work may vary depending on weather conditions. You should expect occasional overtime and/or weekend work to compensate for weather-related delays.

**Desirable team members should**:

- Hold an **IRATA Level 1** or **SPRAT** certification.
- Be in good physical condition.
- Be fluent in **English. Spanish** and/or **Portuguese are asset**).
- Be able to work without supervision.
- Have experience in construction, restoration, or maintenance.
- Have **three years of experience** or **300 logged rope-access hours**.
- Hold a valid driver’s license (an asset).

The work is for a minimum of 30 hours a week, our jobs are mainly in the lower mainland of BC, Canada. The employees will be part of a crew, most of them are Spanish/portuguese speakers (therefore Spanish/Portuguese are asset). Equipment will be provided, nevertheless it is the responsibility of each employee to check their equipment before using it.

Mobility to job sites will be provided if the job site is out of the public service area.

This contract can be extended or became permanent.

Applicants must have good team work skills, quick learning, be safe oriented and honest in every aspect of life. Friendly and courteous is a must.

Our existing crew members are all non-smoker, no drugs consumers and responsible.

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
