**Martin's Processing Ltd. operates a State-of-the-Art processing facility in Elmira, Ontario where we produce apple cider, our famous _Crispy Apple Chips_ and fresh sliced apples for commercial bakeries.**

**Martin’s is currently hiring a full-time permanent Maintenance Technician on afternoon shift to join our great team and grow with the company. Apprenticeship opportunity.**

This role will repair and maintain washing, grading, packaging and processing equipment. This is primarily achieved through daily support of all processes completing Emergency, Corrective, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance tasks.
- Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday, 2:45pm to 11:15pm_

**Responsibilities**:

- Works closely with production identifying and correcting all Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic problems ensuring equipment is functioning properly, operating safely and running efficiently
- Identifies and reports unsafe conditions / near misses and accidents in a timely manner
- Completes Preventative and Predictive Maintenance routines according to the master PM schedule
- Contacts equipment suppliers as required
- Identifies and coordinates improvements to address downtime or efficiency issues
- Exhibits a mature and cooperative attitude to promote good communication and teamwork both within the department and with other departments

**Qualifications**
- Minimum grade 12 education
- 3 years’ experience working in a food related industry preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
