This student placement position at Novari Health offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in office administration and marketing. The role is suited for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to learn. You will be involved in managing day-to-day office tasks, coordinating events, and supporting marketing activities, helping to ensure smooth operations and contributing to the company’s growth. **Primary Responsibilities**: **Lunch Orders Management**: - Coordinate and manage weekly lunch orders for the office. - Send out a weekly form to staff to collect RSVPs and dietary restrictions. - Communicate with caterers to ensure accurate headcounts and dietary requirements are met. - Handle set-up and clean-up for lunches, ensuring everything is in place for staff. **Office Supplies Management**: - Maintain inventory of office supplies, including milk and Costco orders. - Place orders for necessary supplies to keep the office stocked and functional. - Track and manage office supply expenses to stay within the allocated budget. **Event Support**: - Assist in organizing company functions, including holiday parties, staff socials, and other team events. - Help with event planning, logistics, and set-up to ensure successful execution. **Office Maintenance**: - Keep the office environment tidy and functional, addressing any issues that arise. - Support general office operations and work closely with the team to ensure a smooth-running workspace. **Marketing Assistance**: - Assist with proofreading marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistency. - Update and maintain contacts in the company’s CRM system. - Provide support in various marketing tasks as needed. **Conference Preparation**: - Help in preparing materials and organizing logistics for company conferences. - Ensure all necessary items are ready and available for conference participation. **Education & Experience**: - Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field). - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn. **Working Conditions** - Employee may sit for prolonged periods of time - Prolonged periods of time viewing computer monitor and keyboarding - Tight deadlines, with multiple and rapidly changing priorities - Interacting with internal and external stakeholders - Open office floor plan means noise and a regular flow of people around the office **Hours Of Work** - Expected to work from our Kingston office for 2 days per week, with a requirement to be in the office every Wednesday from 9am-1pm. - Minimum hours of work each week is 20 unless otherwise agreed to between the employee and their manager **Job Type**: Part-time
