**YOUR ROLE**

The Associate Planner is responsible for supporting the growth of Aldo stores through sales planning and inventory management. This role will help manage the in-season and future planning of sales, markdown, and profit/contribution, with an additional focus on inventory management and assortment strategy. Reports to the Planning Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Generate and analyze statistical data on area of responsibility
- Build and maintain seasonal merchandise budgets
- Build and maintain seasonal assortment plans
- Monitor the purchases against receipt plan
- Participate in the regional in-season management, and provide sales and markdowns forecasts and its impact on inventory levels
- Update weekly and monthly reports
- Update and analyze Foundations styles flowcharts
- Prepare ad-hoc reports to support strategic business decisions

**DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?**
- 1-2 years retail planning (with an emphasis on either inventory management, buying or allocation)
- Excellent retail math and analytical skills
- Ability to partner effectively across organizational boundaries; highly collaborative
- Excellent Excel skills, ability to use Excel to analyze large volume of data
- Excellent prioritization, process optimization and problem-solving capabilities; highly curious
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and disciplined to check work
- Experience in Arthur, Decision, Retek and SAP an asset
- Bachelor’s Degree required
