**YOUR ROLE**

The Aldo Group is looking for a Planner to join the Supply Chain Global Planning team responsible for all supply, demand & inventory planning. This individual will collaborate closely with all supply chain, channel & finance teams.

**Demand Planning**:

- Aggregate on a monthly basis the ALDO Group demands plan by Distribution center, operating brand, merchandise category, including the detailed understanding & documentation of assumptions.
- Report on the forecast accuracy of the demand plan, assess variances against assumptions, and propose solutions to improve the accuracy
- Collaborate with supply planning to track impact on the supply plans.

**Supply planning**:

- Track all supply chain lead times vs plan, including root cause analysis and help inform demand on upcoming impact.
- Support the inventory planning manager to track in-DC inventory breakdown, track unallocated inventory and develop action plans.
- Aggregate on a weekly basis the ALDO Group supply plan by Distribution center, operating brand, merchandise category, including the detailed understanding & documentation of assumptions.
- Report on the variance vs latest budget/FCST, including root cause analysis and reforecast the next 3-month out demand/supply/inventory including constraint planning.
- Present on a monthly basis to the VP of Distribution the revised DC capacity plan, including key take aways & root cause analysis.
- Support the planning manager to build customer on-time metric and track root cause analysis by working cross
- functionally with sourcing, supply chain, finance & channels.

**Process & Dashboards**:

- Lead the monthly executive S&OP meetings, including coordinating the presentation, connecting the dots on sales, demand, supply, inventory, following through on action items for next S&OP.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Develop a detailed understanding of S&OP processes and business practices to understand the data & business impacts.
- Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
- Develop new dashboards in BI & enhance existing ones with limited supervision.

To be successful, the planner is required to move easily between process management and detailed execution possessing a strong combination of analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field
- Strong analytical, data-processing and problem-solving skills
- Well organized with high attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure with limited supervision
- Experience with SAP is considered an asset
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to understand key demand-planning and supply-planning concepts and communicate with business stakeholders
- Mandatory 2 days in the office
