Follow work schedule provided and review upcoming function agreements.

Maintains refrigerator, freezer and inventories in an orderly and clean manner.

Stocks, portions, prepares and sells all food items according to Cause & Effect’s specifications.

Rotates food supplies according to standard food rotation procedure.

Inventories food items as requested

Provides friendly, courteous, polite & helpful support to fellow team members

Cleans all food service equipment according to cleaning schedules

Sets up kitchen for shift - Make sure all food and supplies are stocked and ready for shift.

Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and ensures hygienic conditions.

Wears standard Uniform and maintains proper hygiene standards

Keeps the kitchen area/floors clean and free of debris.

Cleans flat grill to company standards.

Empties, cleans & refills fryer oil according to company standards.

Skims/filters fryer oil throughout the shift.

Washes all dishes in the absence of a dishwasher based upon volume needs.

Maintains a safe work environment at all times.

Communicates to servers when food is ready to be delivered.

Receives product and deliveries from outside vendors

Maintains dry storage organization.

Performs all duties assigned at the level of Cause & Effect Approved Standards.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stoney Creek, ON L8J 0K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
