Reporting to the **_Director of Hardware Development_**, you will support all documentation activities for the company. In this job you will use an advanced documentation management system for the configuration, verification, and communication, related to product releases and change orders of Voxx products. The products relate to in‑car devices, remote controls, sensors, harnesses, and communication devices using innovative high-tech concepts.

**JOB SUMMARY**

**TECHNICAL**
- Create BOM documentation trees in the documentation control system for new products and support the evolution of the documentation lifecycle.
- Assist the development of new products by creating part numbers as needed and making sure that all documentation items are covered.
- Upload/remove documents in the documentation control system according to the engineering change process.
- Verify the integrity of documentation to be released to production and interact with suppliers and partners as needed.
- Participate in the approval cycle of new documents and updates, from submission to final release.
- Extract filtered data and produce reports from the documentation control system whenever required.
- Capture and report any pending items related to the documentation.

**PROCESS**
- Work with cross-functional teams to define procedures and instructions to meet customers and company requirements.
- Create guides and procedures related to the creation, management, and control of documentation.
- Adhere and actively participate for the continuous improvement of products development process, particular to what concerns the management and control of documentation.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Documentation Control Specialist with DCS or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Experience with the recording and approval cycle of documentation.
- Experience manipulating and creating reports of documents stored in databases.
- Good knowledge and experience with Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, Visio and databases.
- Quality oriented and willing to promote high quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with good verbal and written proficiency in French and English.

- Previous experience with “Arena” documentation management system.
- Experience working with remote teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Experience with documentation of automotive electronics products.
