**Packaging & Trimming Labourer - $16.00/hr to $17.00/hr**

Supernova Farms is seeking a Processing Technician who has high attention to detail and takes pride in their work. The Technician is responsible for working along side the supervisor as well as other members of the processing team. Must be capable of following strict guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures as this is a government regulated industry.
- **PLEASE NOTE: While working inside the facility, PPE is mandatory. Uniforms, hairnets and beard nets (if applicable) will be provided.**_

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Harvesting and transporting cannabis between rooms
- Removing stems, grinding, weighing, packing, labelling and etc
- Sitting and standing for long periods of time
- Accurately document all work performed using strong documentation practices
- Following strict protocols for cleanliness and sterility inside the production area and facility. Regular and daily facility cleaning and upkeep
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices, Standard Operating Procedures and all applicable regulations
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

**Requirements**:

- **Must have a reliable car for the commute. No public transportation available**:

- Strong team player who takes pride in their work
- High School diploma
- Clean criminal record
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be fluent in both spoken and written English
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to perform a series of repetitive operations requiring manual dexterity and visual accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player with a collaborative attitude able to work cohesively in a group or independently as required

**Working Conditions**
- Shift work may be required, which could include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- PPE Required: Uniforms, hairnets, beard nets, safety shoes, and face masks.

**Physical Requirements**
- Sitting and standing for long periods of time
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work with cannabis, alcohols (organic solvents), and fine dust
- The ability to lift 25-50 pounds regularly
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
- The ability to safely climb stairs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
