Mass Excavation & Demolition is a rapidly growing construction business, working in Ottawa and the surrounding area. We specialize in Excavating, Backfilling, Site Grading, Heavy Equipment/Truck Rentals, Site Remediation, Snow ploughing, and Building Demolition. Mass Excavation & Demolition is currently looking for a licensed DZ driver to join our team and drive a triaxle dump truck.

**Duties**
- Operates vehicle in accordance with MTO (Ministry of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, municipal, provincial, and federal laws.
- Driver will navigate driveways, alleyways, parking lots, high traffic roadways, construction sites and may operate in tight overhead environments.
- Performs pre
- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard VIR (Vehicle Inspection Report).
- Deliver materials to and from jobsite.
- Performs all duties as scheduled by Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
- Fill out material tracking form as required for the new excess soils act.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario DZ Drivers License
- Clean drivers abstract
- 3 year’s truck driving experience preferably with a dump truck.
- 25 year's of age or older.
- The ability to use an app through your phone.
- Knowledge of city roads and areas an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour
