**You as an Estimator will**:

- Be part of an Estimating team to assist with the completion of bids and budgets under pressure while building strong relationships with sub-trades
- Utilizing established systems and software to assemble accurate, timely and well organized estimates for construction management, design build, and lump sum procurement models.
- Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and handover documents.
- Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub-trades for future opportunities
- Distribute sub-trade quotes to personnel, flagging areas of concern and coordinating with management to accommodate risk within the bid price
- Maintain databases, including subcontractor contacts, labour rates, material pricing and project costs, for future reference

**Is this the right role for you?**
- You have a construction-related degree/diploma and a minimum of 5 years of estimating experience.
- Ability to use Compass and CostX software is an asset.
- You have a working knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts
- Estimating experience in Design Build, Lump Sum, and Construction Management contracts would be considered an asset.
- You have the ability to work effectively and accurately in time-sensitive situations within a team in an office environment.
- Be comfortable working autonomously, while providing updates when needed, and following EllisDon procedures at all times
