- Proven ability to provide supervision in both individual and group settings preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge base of clinical care standards in the treatment of adults, children, and families; demonstrated ability and desire to help families from diverse cultures and background.
- Proficient with supervision, service delivery, and case management fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of case conceptualization and able to create treatment plans.
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software required.
- Experience with technology and therapeutic platforms (e.g. Jane) preferred.
- Effective communication and intervention skills (written and oral).
- Proven ability to effectively and respectfully solve conflict and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, students, collaborators, and the general public.
- Knowledge of holistic practices and ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Exceptional organization and detail orientation, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and cases.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff within the clinic, regarding matters of a confidential nature.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and use good judgment.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Masters or PhD (required)
- Full professional licensure or registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or similar registration, licensure, or certification (required)
- 5+ years of extensive clinical/supervisory experience in a similar role preferred.
- Valid professional liability insurance (required)

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist psychotherapy interns to integrate course content into their therapy practices.
- Direct and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness of Practicum Fieldwork & Supervision under the direction of the Founder.
- Counseling, motivating, and disciplining interns, and referring advanced issues to the Founder.
- Assist the intern in developing a Learning Contract for the practicum that will seek to meet practicum objectives, the intern’s objectives and the organizational objectives.
- Enable the intern to participate, as much as possible, in day-to-day operations (e.g. team meetings)
- Ensuring interns comply with licensure and registration requirements.
- Assisting interns by supervising complex cases.
- Provide on-going supervision, resources and guidance necessary for the intern to complete assigned projects and tasks.
- Complete a final evaluation form at the end of the practicum and discuss it with the intern.
- Ensure that the intern’s work can be evaluated by the academic program.
- Overseeing and reviewing students’ work procedures.
- Conducting performance reviews.
- Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality of clinical documentation.
